Minor Ailment Scheme - Care at the Chemist
In partnership with Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) we can provide access to the Care at the Chemist minor ailment scheme allowing you to receive treatment for any of the conditions listed below without the need to see your doctor.
- Allergies
- Athletes foot
- Coughs, colds and sore throats
- Cold sores
- Constipation
- Cystitis
- Diarrhoea
- Headache
- Pain or high temperature
- Haemorrhoids
- Head lice
- Indigestion
- Mouth Ulcers
- Minor eye infections
- Nasal congestion
- Oral Thrush
- Threadworm
- Thrush
- Warts and verrucas
- Minor skin reactions
The pharmacist may decide that you need to see a doctor and refer you back to your surgery, or may give other advice without supplying any medicines.
Medicines supplied on Care at the Chemist are subject to a normal prescription charge, or free of charge if you qualify for free prescriptions.
